Erick and I roasted our first chicken on Saturday. We got it at the farmers market and it was delicious. We did learn one lesson though: don't roast it along with the veggies you plan on eating it with. They will become uber covered in chicken juices (i.e. fat), which, while tasty, is a bit much. I only got a picture of it in its pre-roast state since Erick started deconstructing it as soon as it came out of the oven.

Also, grapefruit are always my winter fruit obsession. So tasty and refreshing. I bring one to school almost everyday. I have a knife and spoon in my tool cabinet specifically reserved for eating them.
