blue fireplace?

Erick's new place has a (nonfunctional) fireplace. Its super plain, but offers some fun decorating potential. I looooooove this blue fireplace from envelopeA+D, which I've seen on a few design blogs recently. I don't know if it would work with Erick's fireplace, but we shall see. I'm definitely painting something soon.

I went to Ikea today to buy some cardboard storage boxes which fit in my Expedit shelf. I then organized all of my random piles of fabric and wool and felt. PHEW! I needed to do that. Then I sewed myself a little stuff "K" with a reverse applique. Craft crafts.
