busy busy

This is my little 1/4 scale model of the prototype chair I am planning on making. I like to think of it as simple and modern with a bit of femininity and tradition.


I wanted some spring in my room (which I'm very glad of with this pooie snow weather that just arrived), so I bought this pretty purple hyacinth. Smells nice.

And this was my pretty lame 3D design project. You can't really tell, but those blobs of darkness are felt "leaves/petals/feathers". I sorta whipped it up the night before it was due. And stuck christmas lights in it. Cause that's just what you do.

The furniture department is having their turn with the gallery this upcoming week, so I'll take pictures of my wood stuff soon.
