homemade skirt!

This is a relatively not so good picture, but I made this skirt last week and wanted to show it off. I wore it out last night and people liked it. It was super easy, it just has a simple elasticated waist and thus looks best with a belt. Oh, and it has pockets. I love pockets in skirts. I am SO excited about how easy it was to make, and how relatively good it looks. I'm going to make a bunch of skirts like this I think. I plan on learning how to make a proper waist band with a zipper or something so they don't always need a belt to look perfect.
